    I’ll thread the minnow on a jig. Been out fishing live minnows and waxies. Just keep twitching the rod tip and watch for the hit.

    I have’t tried this but I think canning jars might work.the lid is independent of the screw cap. they come with a rubber gasket and with a little tape to’ I think it would last a long time since its a two piece lid.
