Trolling Motor wiring question

    I bought a new boat that has a 12v Minn Kota on the bow. I purchased a used 24v Minn Kota and need to rewire the boat for 24 volts. Can anyone point me in the right direction for a diagram for proper wiring? Is there a wiring ‘harness’ that can be purchased or is it easier to buy the wire seperately and piece it together? Is there a standard gauge of wire that needs to be use?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    What size wire runs from the TM plug to the battery compartment right now? More than likely you won’t need to rewire anything and just hook your two batteries up to be 24 volts.
