    I need your help…. I dont remember the oil/fuel ratio for this motor. I havent started this motor in 20 years and the mixture has slipped my mind..I blame it on old age! I believe its 16:1 but want to make sure. Oh yea its a 10 horse. Thanks for your information.

    I believe its 24:1.

    Pull the plugs and squirt some wd-40 in the cylinders then turn it over too loosen it back up. Oil will dry sitting that long and its hard on the engine too just start it. Its worth the time to take a few minutes to get it lubed up a little befor starting it.

    Thanks guys, Dan will do that but I’m sure there will be a few more problems before this thing fires up. I will be amazed if this old girl will pump any water. If all goes well this will be my Cedar river troller!
