I went to the father-in-laws tonight and was talking smart and having a few beverages. Joe Connely (Former RCL Guy and remolder was over) and he brought this prop.

He got he prop from a remodel job near the St. Croix. It was hanging on wall of the cabin’s (house’s) owner who didn’t want it.

    Here are a few pics…

It is keyed, and appears to be made of bronze. (Not brass)

The marking on the hub end say “K 11×11 18”

In between the blades, it says “11 RH 11” and “1150 Michigan Aqua-Master”

Also, the inside of the hub looks steel sleeved.

    Thoughts?

    hi Jon,
I’d say it’s definitely Brass, and is probably off an old antique Chris Craft boat or that vintage. cool looking prop. Jack..

You can find that same prop on the wooden launch boats on lake Mille lacs. It slides onto a drive shaft. I’m sure there would be many resort owners licking their chops over it.

There is an upscale Chris Craft dealer in Mound, MN. I’m sure they would have some info for you. I don’t recall the name of the shop, but there boats are usually in that $50 -$80K range on up. I’ll look for the name tonight on my way home from work if I go that way.
