Lake Pepin Walleye Report

    I went on Lake Pepin with a few friends again from about 9 am to 4 pm. We only caught two nice sized saugers, a nice crappie and a decent bluegill. The rest of the time we just caught sheepies, lots of sheepies. I have never caught so many sheepies in my entire life in one day. Every five minutes a sheepie would bite. I didn’t see too many other people catching walleyes or saugers, just sheepies all day long everywhere.

    My son and I had the same luck yesterday. You should have made the IDA get together and helped eat the walleyes that others caught. Good time!!
