9mm & 22 Ammo

Just got back from the Gander store in Eden Prairie. They’re having a big firearms sale that started today. Walked over to the ammo aisle like usual, saw more 9mm ammo than I’d seen in a couple of years. Picked up a box of 250 Remington UMC 115gr., then told one of the sales associates that they should have 22 ammo. He pointed behind the counter, and there were several types of 22 ammo from Federal and Winchester. Limit 1 brick/can per person, but still not a bad deal to get 325 rounds for 20 bucks. Check it out, it was like Christmas in February.

.06 a round is a bit steep for 22lr in my humble opinion.

At least they had some Bricks available. NO ONE has had any bulk boxes or bricks for over a year, maybe things are loosening up a little finally.

I agree that $.06 per round WAS a bit steep for .22 but not today. I give them credit for not jacking the price up. I called the LaCrosse store this morning and asked if they actually had the ammo from the ad on the shelves and was told yes!

My FW actually left work and ran the 40 minutes down to pick up a 1,000 round brick for me

Used to be brick of 500 for 10 bucks I don’t think well se it that low again.

I don’t expect prices to go back to pre-craze but throughout this whole mess I’ve not paid more than $.04 a round. Haven’t found many quantities at any given point, but I’ve been lucky and stumbled on a few bricks of 325 – 500 rounds over the last 18 months.

We received a large order of .22lr ammo today. 100, 525 and 1400 round boxes. These will make great stocking stuffers. Thanks, Chris

When or Who gave you that info at 4 Season’s is outdated.
They have NO bulk .22 ammo, 50 count boxes only, and for some time.
