    Just called Red Door on north end of Mille Lacs and their booked solid. Could anybody recommend some other options?

    Nitti’s Hunters Point would be my next choice.

    Fisher’s resort is my home base in Malmo. Just like the Red Door they are a very family friendly resort with one of the nicest harbors on the lake.

    One cool thing about Fishers is that for opener to help keep things moving quickly they have extra people at the ramp who will give you a quick ride to your car from the ramp when you get off the lake

    Have not been to Appledorns but I know they have remodeled their entire place and It looks great. Might be nice if you have family along.

    rocky reek west side good fishing nice bar cabins are old but cheap
