96 johnson steering question

    I have a 96 Johnson 3 cylinder 2 stroke. Basically the same motor as the 60 and 70. I converted it from remote to tiller steer and it needs the steering friction spring assembly to tighten down the steering. My problem is the spring is no longer availabe. Would anyone have this motor or a 60 -70 that could give me the dimentions of the spring. Have tried TC Outboards no luck there.
