Wondering if anybody has advice on buying a hunting vest for my dog to help protect her bottom side when we’re going thru cattails and tall grasses. There’s quite a few sizes out there and my dog is about 60 pounds.

I’ve had hodgman and cabelas brand. Both brands were good but I liked the cabelas brand a little better because of fit. The dogs seemed to move s little better in it.
Got a cabelas pretty good. Avery has a great one if you can find it
Ok, that sounds good. I was just looking at the avery vest online. Good reviews on it.
I have the averys for both my dogs love them. The handles and floaters in the back are great.
My dog has the Avery Boater’s Dog Parka in size medium. She is 55 pounds and it’s a little tight. I would try the large for your dog.
The chest diameter is important. Measure your dogs chest diameter and find a vest that matches.
I just got my second one at Cabelas and am very happy with it. This after returning a higher cost one from someplace else. This is the one I have for both dogs.

I also bought one of their neoprene vestsfor cold weather.
Avery is good! I loved it. Here I found it – http://www.mackspw.com/ItemList–Hunting-Dog-Vests–m-974
