That’s an impressive line of storms rolling across MN. The storm travels well into Canada and down into Nebraska. Be sure to set your wind up alarm clocks, might be some power outages from this one.

60 miles per hour winds are headed towards Everts.
I hope the campers secure.
August 4, 2012 at 4:59 am #1089628The bow of the storm hit us, 1 good blow, a good light show, anice drizzle and some much needed cool weather, we dropped 20 degrees after the front!
August 4, 2012 at 5:13 am #1089631The predicted 60 might have been 30 mph…but that’s ok by me!
I don’t like the wonder weather map that shows a tornatic thunderstorm right above the resort.
August 4, 2012 at 10:19 am #1089646I never even knew it rained till i got outside of work and saw branches blown out of trees and some stop lights blinking

The wind was well ahead of any rain or local lightning and the squal line had an eerie look to it as it snaked across Roch. I sat out on the porch and watched it come down on us. Pretty impressive to see and those temps took a nose-dive once the wind hit. We had power out twice during the night.
August 4, 2012 at 1:44 pm #1089659That storm dumped oabout 4 to 4 1/2 inches of rain here yesterday.

I just checked my gauge and had a smidge over 2″
