My buddy and his dad have a guide service, and because of a lack of space while others are fishing he switched to a new Terrova 101… Leaving his brand new last year 101 Fortrex for sale. Long story short he gave me such a good deal I couldn’t pass it up, only problem was it was a 60″. I called around and the guys at Warners Dock in New Richmond said they can order a shaft and install the shorter shaft for around $140. I can’t wait to be back on the water!!

I was told by a minnkota rep. that he can take the bottom off and cut the shaft down and put it back together. I think he said it would cost me 50 bucks.

I called around and most every shop told me on this troller it was not possible. And Warner’s said that if you cut the shaft down there were more issues that could take up to another hour of shop time to work out. And the new shaft was only $27. plus $98. for labor. And after pulling the head apart… It was well worth the money to not have to deal with the hassle!!!
