Anyone have any experience with a Solas Amita prop? The price is right at around $100 for a new prop! I had my original repaired and it cracked where it was welded. I was thinking of trying one of these, either that or find a better welder if these props are not very good.

I have been very happy with Sodebloom’s in Cromwell, MN for prop repair. If you have access to Spee -Dee delivery service they will deliver it next day for around $5. Look Solderbloom’s up on your internets. They have flat rates posted for repair based on material (SS or AL) and diameter. I know of 4 props they have done and all were done right. Very fast service. Usually send it out same day they receive.

I’ll concur with Soderbloom’s. He’s cheap, fast, and has done excellent work on the props I have sent him.

I have had a Solas Amita 4 Blade for years great prop no issues. I run it on a 1999 90 Evinrude Ficht. I use the stock prop for backup.
