Here is a picture of the new Lund 1875 Pro-V IFS. I am thinking about byeing one. They are rated for a 200 Hp main engine, it should really cruz. I have gone 3 years now without a boat. I told the wife it is time, she said go for it. That was all I needed.

Go for it! I run a 1900 w/ 225 pro XS and love it! Be sure to get the 9.9 kicker!

Seems to be a big push in that 18-19 ft market, good to see a new product on the market!

What’s the price range on that boat with a 200?

Congrats. Getting the “go ahead” from the significant other can be as tough as picking the right boat.

The prices are not set in stone yet, but I was told a 1875 double bubble with a 150 Verado would be around $34,000. That is just a guess so far. I will know more in a week or so. I am going to run to the factory next week and check one out in person.

That’s a sharp looking rig. Should be a good market out there for the 18-19 footers. I think Alumacraft only has one model over 18′ (Trophy fish/ski).

My suggestion would be to max that HP out and put the 200 Verado on her. You won’t be disapointed! Congrats on the go for launch!

I will hang either a 200 Optimax or HPDI on it. Depends on the prices. I will rig the boat either way myself. I looked at the 200 Yamaha 4 stroke, but I can not justify the extra money for it. Especially knowing how reliable my 200 HPDI was on my 2004 Pro-V.

Another twist in this. Thanks to Jbob, I am now getting a 1975 IFS Pro-V. After driving his boat (which is for sale) it made me decide to go for the bigger 1975. I have been a Yamaha man, but now I will be running a 225 Opti Pro-XS with pro kicker. Now I need to get the wife to approve a toy garage!
