Terminal covers

    I know this has been posted about but I can’t find it. What should I use and where do I get the terminal covers for my trolling motor batteries. What is legal and not legal? I think I remember reading that I MUST have them on in order to be legal. Where can I pick some up. My starting battery has covers on both posts that covers the wires connected to it.

    Thanks EYE, but my bigger question is what is the law in MN?

    Consider stopping by your local boat shop and picking up some Moeller battery terminal covers. See http://www.moellermarine.com. (under battery accessories) Cut the cover neck…slip it over the terminal wires and zip tie it around the wires.
