The tip on my Loomis got snapped off when the rod locker was closed, oops!

I made a phone call this morning, got a very friendly and helpful guy on the phone named Shawn. 5 minutes later he tells me my new rod will be shipped out this morning. His willingness to help and attitude were over the top and left me thinking “That was way to easy”

Sometimes you really do “get what you pay for”!

Glad everything worked out. Now if UPS can get the new one there without bending it in half…………………….

Were you honest with them about how it broke?

Last summer we were packing up to leave the cabin and head for home. Like an idiot I set my 2 Loomis rods at the side of the van in the sliding door. My son hit the door close button by mistake and SNAP. Both rods broke in half . When we got home I took the rods to Joe’s and asked if they were under warranty. Without a hesitation they took my rods (that were 10 years old or so) shipped them back to Loomis and within 5 days I had 2 brand new rods, upgraded models to boot. All it cost me was $10 shipping. Needless to say I have since purchased 2 more Loomis rods. Great customer service

St Croix would do the same but would charge $50.. As tough as I am on fishing poles, maybe I should look at loomis

My Loomis was $40 to get replaced due to defect, if I had broke it by accident then it was a $60 no questions asked return. That was a couple years ago, have sice changed brands and it just sits in the corner now. My current brand charges nothing other than cost to ship broken rod back and the 1 problem I had new rod was at my door 48 hours after the call was made.

I must be doing something wrong. I got a St Croix Premier muskie rod replaced 2 years ago and it cost me 70.00. I also bought a 7 ft Loomis walleye series rod from the classified on IDO. Only to realize the 7 ft rod was really only 6’9″ and had been filed down after the 2nd to last eye. Shame on me for not catching it before handing over payment. I sent it in and they replaced it for 120.00 (new they are 250.00). I still think that is fair from their perspective.

    I just talked to loomis
I sent a rod in back in Oct last year for warranty
they said they have no record of it
I have the tracking number saying it was delivered to them
they told me since they have no record it’s “my loss”
the post office said it was delivered so it’s out of there hands
Think I’ll EVER use a G-Loomis blank again
    NOT!!!
Hope every one else has better luck with them
but as a custom rod builder useing there product
    I WAS SCREWED

    Yes, I was

The expedite system they have costs $100.00, no questions asked, rod sent. I purhcased this rod as an investment knowing I will have it forever, even if it costs me a few hundred over my life time, still one of my best purchases.

They told me “it would take some extra time with the holidays” I had expected to hear from them in time and was trying to be
a decent customer and not keep bugging them guess I was wrong now I have to replace a $475 customers rod for free
never had any trouble like this with ST.Croix
