Lake Altoona docks going in today

    Took the old boat for a test drive this morning before selling it. We went to Lake Altoona County Park landing. Took the waders to get the boat on and off the trailer (not a drive on – old spartan). Played around about an hour on the water making sure everything worked and the buyer knew how to work everything. When we came in the county park crew was there getting ready to put the docks/piers in. They said they would be ready to go by the end of the day. Makes life easier for folks without a drive on trailer and passengers getting in and out.

    Anybody troll for perch on Altoona this time of year? I have done well in the fall trolling the northern flats for Jumbo’s….

    nice to see you finally got out to run the boat i have often wondered why their is a chipp river forum a wissota forum but not an altoona one it just goes under gen.?
