safe ice?

    anyone here of any safe ice in northern wi yet was thinking of scouting tmrw

    thanks for the responses i just have ice fever and this season needs to kick off asap,i need a little over 3 in to get out there

    Heard there was just shy of 2 inches in Ely today, so doubt it’ll be ready there yet. Maybe by Sunday afternoon though. Just don’t go alone, we’d like to keep you around for a while.

    I would guess things will be cookin’ on the small lakes in our area after this crispy weekend.

    I think there is supposed to be a fair amount of wind, which will cut down on ice production… Also there has been a fair amount of snow that has fallen, which will slow things down also… Its coming though…
