    Headed to Big D for the maiden trip (way behind in my fishing this year). Cold Cold Cold. This is spring right? Ran around the lake looking for warmer water and ended up fishing the Lake Lawn marina from about 9am to Noon. Water temps there were 53 and main lake 48 to 50. I ended up with 7 crappies. Tough fishing. Picked up two on mini mite and the others on minnows. Talked to some guys who just pounded the gills on the other end of lake.

    Nice to get the old girl up and running.

    At least I got a meal.

    Glad to see you dusted the tub off and got her wet. A buddy of mine got a mess of gills and couple crapps in the marina on saturday, but had to fight off more than a dozen boats to get in there. weatherman was way off yesterday….supposed to be sunny and warm.
