Fish are still in the shallows in about 4-10 fow and a jig and shiner were our best combinations. Fish weed edges and pulled alot of 14-15 inch fish with the ocassional 21-22 incher. The northerns are really becoming active too so if you are going to fish these weed edges 10 jigs can be gone in 10 min. Water temp as of Friday was 57 in the morning and by Sunday night we seen 63. Winnnie is taking a little while to warm up this year. There is alot of people starting to fish the main lake bars finding large schools of suspened fish.
Probably caught 150 walleyes over the course of the weekend but the thing is there is alot of 7-13 3/4 in walleyes this year. This is a good thing for the upcoming years. It is just hard on the pocket book going through a quart of shiners every day.

Picked up a few nice perch also this weekend but no crappies to be found.

If you see me on the water don’t be afraid to say
