Winnie has slowed down but it is still producing some nice eaters and slot fish. Over the last few days we have seen some wicked winds and cool temps, making the fall fishing a bit challanging, but results are still there. Many of the areas that hold the normal fall numbers are with very few fish, but if you head to the deepest water near there, the walleyes are there. On the last outing, we boated all of are fish in 28-34 feet of water. Yep that deep. The water cooled off so quickly it seems that a number of the eyes are in there wintering areas already. So if your headed up this way anytime soon, don’t forget the 3-8 oz jigs and that deep water.
