Resorts in Dulth area

We are looking to change gears for this years vaction. Anyone got any suggestions or web sites for lakes or resorts in this neck of the woods? Thanks………..B

If you’re looking for something in the immediate Duluth area a couple to try would be the Lakebreeze Motel (218-525-6806) or the Lakeview Castle (218-525-1014). Both are right on Lake Superior about 15 – 20 minutes north of Duluth on Scenic 61. A good B&B in the area (also on the Lake) is Emily’s General Store(218-834-5922). Awesome caramel rolls in the morning or if you are just passing through the have great soup, sandwiches and coney’s. They are also on old 61 at the mouth of the Knife River.
