I am to fish the pond on Friday with a good Friend of mine Geno. We got to the lake about 8:00 after a healthy breakfast at the Milaca Hardee’s.Started off the day on a gravel to mud transition with a lot of success but no keepers. We were fishing in 20-26 fow and using 8 ft Lindy’s with leeches red hooks of death were the keys today.
The first fish in the boat was a 26 1/2 and the next 10 to follow that one were all the same size range of 24- 27.
So we headed out to try to find some eaters. But guess what all we could find we slobs but that is always fun too. We ended up catching a 19 1/2 was the smallest on the day and the biggest was this beauty at 27 3/4. We ended the day with 20 fish and only 1 eater. It was a great day on the water and I really enjoyed the company Geno. Thanks again.

Nice report. Sounds like a great day. Sounds like a guy could go hungry looking for slot fish on the pond this year.

That can’t be Mille Lacs, never saw it that calm during the day this year.

    Nice Report and Fish Crossin’!
