    i went to big pond last friday i start at 7 am till 4 pm and i been drilled over 150 holes( 2 time refill gas) and over 6 flats and i caught only one perch and saw 4 perch on aqua vu no good so i am going to winnie this week

    Ya the big lake is pretty dead! The lake roads out of Lakeside have lots of water on them…….you could almost troll cranks! I hav’nt been out lately myself, but the reports are very few people are getting any perch at all.

    I heard of one rumor that the ice is starting to honey cone here on Mille Lacs?

    THERE IS NO HONEY CORE ON ICE WHENEVER I WENT SPOT TP SPOT AND I SEE OLD HOLES FEEZE UP

    Was out on saturday on west side battled shelf ice and wind but hit perch well. kept 35 between me and my partner. creel worker said we had more fish than rest of lake combined. he said flats are dead, my advice is to go shallow!

    live bait was key, they really didn;t want spoons for some reason, i was in 10 to 12 feet. minnow didn’t even have to be alive.
