The walleye didn’t seem to mind the cold this weekend. We managed a good number of 22-26 inch eyes this weekend set up on the mud flats inside turns. We did take a few fish on the jig but most came off tipups with a shiner set 5-10 foot off bottom. One 41 inch bonus pike to add to the fun 
Warning to all that travel off road there are new live cracks from all the cold weather. We crossed a 2 inch crack on our way out and by the time we came back 4 hours later it was open to 6 inches. This open crack was found between 9 mile and 7 mile flat.
