November 13, 2013 at 5:31 am #1363602Bk-great video! I’m just glad you didn’t lip sync like the pop artists do nowdays! They are terrible at it. You NAILED it!
I was born in the early 80’s and I love classic rock!
AC/DC is at the top of my list followed by Boston, CCR, and Aerosmith. Its all before my time but I grew up listening to it and don’t know what happened to the talent nowdays. Great thread!bigpikePosts: 6259November 13, 2013 at 5:39 am #1363603Quote:
I don’t think these guys fit into the timeline Brian, but they sure know how to play the air rods.

I can’t believe Rush hasnt been mentioned yet!!!
There are lots of great bands from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s that haven’t been mentioned yet. Keep checking back as peoples memories start kicking in.
Chicago?
November 13, 2013 at 6:59 am #1363624Steve Miller. The first concert I ever saw was in 1972 on new years eve, Rare Earth and Sugar Loaf. I don’t think arena’s smell like that any more.
November 13, 2013 at 7:31 am #1363634Without question, nothing beats AC/DC.
Zepplin is good. The Who. Stones. Rush. ZZ Top is good too.
I’m burned out on pretty much all else thanks to our 421 ‘classic rocks’ stations playing the same 100 songs every day. Pathetic.
November 13, 2013 at 7:57 am #1363643BK, the Black Oak Ark. was kind in the same group as the Village People, a little on the zee funny side.

That being said, there are so many more they are to hard to rank
November 13, 2013 at 8:38 am #1363661I sure like Zepplin and ACDC but for the last several years I can’t get enough Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Nirvana, or Red Hot Chili Peppers…..crank that up as loud as I can!!
