I’ve been invited to fish Leech Lake this weekend with some friends. I haven’t fished it for about three years. Just wondering if anyone could point me in a couple of directions. Thanks for the help.

The best bite for walleyes right now is coming in the evening, and into the early night. Fish are being caught at many areas of the lake at this time. Walker Bay, Sucker Bay, and Traders Bay would alll be good choices. The mid-lake reefs have been very slow for the last few weeks. Live bait rigging or trolling crank baits have been the presentation of choice.
Good Luck and be sure to make a post back and let us know how you do.
