Well this won’t be one of those years to freeze, but one to go out and enjoy the beautiful March weather. We will be doing a live feed on the Facebook page “Annual Freeze Your Butt Tournament” to draw for boat numbers from all the folks that signed up on IDO and also the Facebook page On WEDS night at 7pm. You have until 7 pm WEDS evening to sign up, and then you can follow along with the boat # drawings is you choose to do so. With the beautiful weather in the forecast and the great fish that have been caught in the past few days, hook on that boat and head to Pool 4 and have some fun in a great yearly tournament. See you on Sat at registration at “The Bluffs” bar in Hagar City, WI starting at 5:30 am

Good luck all? I thought you and RRR were forming the dynamic duo for this one? Or did he cull you for a upgrade already?
March 3, 2020 at 2:33 pm #1919759Just wishing everyone good luck…I didn’t say I was wishing anyone to actually win!
PS It’s that time of year when people have forgotten this years boat registration stickers on their desk. With the wrong color sticker your boat will be sticking out like a sore thumb so to speak.
Nothing like a boat check to waste tourney time!

I saw a post on FB last night I think an 11 lb was caught, but didn’t see anything else on the final results.
I’m curious too how everybody did.
March 8, 2020 at 8:32 am #1921018Andy I misunderstood.
16.xx won with two fish. One of those was 8.xx pounds taking big fish. No other info available to me.
45 boats

Second place was 16.44 pounds with 2 fish..they also had a 10. pound beauty. The weights will seem lower because of the new river regulations in place. I ran the scale yesterday and I did see some nice limits come in and not 1 team came in with a basket that didn’t meet the new regulations!! Thanks to all the teams that fished the event. Many photo’s and details are on the tournament Facebook page of Annual Freeze Your Butt Walleye Tournament.
March 8, 2020 at 9:56 am #1921046Saw this on Facebook, must have been a tough bite.
Not that tough of a bite , with the new regs in place with 1 fish over 20 and 3 under the days of the huge river bags is over. The only time you will see that is in a catch, photo, release tournament. We allowed 2 fish over 20 and 3 under for this event. Many guys swung for the fence to get the 2 overs, thats why 1st and 2nd had only 2 fish. 1st had a 11.02 pounder and 2nd had like a 10.7 pounder. Plus where were many limits brought to the scale.
