We see walleyes during the warm summer months off the breakwater in Two Harbors. In fact, my local buddies from there have mentioned that quite a few walleyes were taken from the wall this summer. The south shore is more consistent for walleyes but they will migrate north and back. Water temperature determines how far up the shore they’ll go. Nice catch though.
On our last trip up a friend caught a 37-38 inch northern from the breakwater. Not a lot of these guys around in the big lake but they are there.
IT was weird to say the least. Just didnt expect it. Ill take it tho!
