    Fished Lake Francis Case from Snake Creek Mother’s Day Weekend. The best bite appears to be north of Snake Creek yet. The PWT will be this weekend, they were pre-fishing last weekend, lots of boats on the water.

    Were you out pre-fishing with a friend for the tourney or just out to one of your usual haunts?

    Just my annual trip to the area. The walley tournament has always been before I got there. Met quite a few of the gentlemen, all were very nice. One even tried to help a friend fix a problem he had with his boat.

    Do you camp in the campground or rent one of those little cabins? We stopped there last September. What a nice place to stay. Be perfect for a combination trip in the fall for pheasants and walleyes.

    We had a camper and some of the guys rented a cabin. They are very simple, no cooking, showers, etc., but the beds were good and they have a nice porch. If you go later in the summer, be sure to take plenty of bug spray.
