I have been searching for the best made commercial pork rub that I can find. Porky’s has been my choice for many years until I recently found John Henry Product’s Bubba’s Rub.

Heres my take on pulled pork:

1 Boston pork butt also known as the shoulder cut.

    1 beef boullion cube

    1 whole clove garlic

    John Henry’s Bubba Rub

1 bottle of Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce

Bring pork butt to room temp. Make small cuts 1 inch deep all over the butt. Chop garlic and place small pieces into each cut in the butt. Smother with Bubba’s Rub.

Process boullion cube in water. Place butt in crock pot and fill with boullion water half way up the butt. Cook on low heat for 8-9 hours or until meat can be pulled with a fork.

Mix with BBQ sauce and serve on hamburger buns or rolls.

    Enjoy

I couldn’t find the Bubba Rub in my area. Is it only an online thing? My wife tried to copy this as best as she could without that particular rub and it was very very good.
