Nice Glenn! At least it wasn’t a skunk. Sounded like things slowed quite a bit. What was working?

I like this question. I am taking my son up on Saturday.
December 21, 2020 at 3:34 pm #1999238I was using a gold type pimple kinda looking thing. I missed one walleye with that and caught 1 perch with it. The rest where under a bobber, I had a green hook, an older glow.
We left about 4. I met up with that new guy boar, he stayed after dark with his cousin and they did pretty good. Rex has always been a pretty good nite bite
December 21, 2020 at 3:57 pm #1999258We killed them with deadsticks on Saturday. Seemed like we couldn’t find a shiner that was too big and even the small ones were engulfing big shiners. Probably 50-60 fish between 2guys. Saturday was completely different. Fished the same spot and the fish didn’t want anything to do with the big shiners and we had to coax them with jiggin spoons. Only about 15 fish on Sunday In about 4 hours. By far the best spoon was the flutter shaker. We fished a small hump in 13ft of water about 4 miles out from west wind and didn’t have anyone within about 500 yards from us.
December 21, 2020 at 4:22 pm #1999266If the water has cleared up I would definitely go to something with more of a flutter or shine. Once that water clears up a bit the rattle spoons don’t seem to be effective and it turns into like a dead stick and tumbler spoon bite. Just my opinion and experience.
