So everything is ready to go,….now I’m bored with walleye thrashing in my dreams. I thought it would be interesting to see what everyone does on opening day LAKE fishing.

Just think if you did…..how much closer you would be to Crystal Pierz Marine!!!
April 20, 2007 at 6:33 pm #562987Yeah because i love that place about as much as you like working on fishing opener. Are you fishing the tournament on the river this weekend?
April 20, 2007 at 6:52 pm #563000Friday-Sunday=Lake Ossawinamakee jigging with mostly bottle openers and shot glasses and then Sunday-Wednesday will be at LOTW at Randalls Resort. Probably drifting and jigging.

Ah-saw-win-a-ma-key. Everyone usually gets a kick out of that name. It’s right outside of Breezy Point connected to Pelican Lake. Terrible fishing, but it’s a family tradition. That’s why it is followed by LOTW
April 20, 2007 at 7:36 pm #563025I will be thinking of you Cal when I pull in my fifth limit of the day on Big Winnie. Hell i might even give you a call and see how work was for ya. You better quit that job its really cutting into your fishing.

April 20, 2007 at 8:12 pm #563045MATT WHERES THE SNAP JIGGING CATAGORY FOR US REAL FISHERMAN.
HAHAHAHAHAHApril 20, 2007 at 8:13 pm #563046Team Honky Tonk is headed for Mille Lacs for a “friendly gentlemens tournament”, titled the “Big D Classic”. Took second last year,…losing to the only 28 inch fish caught. Kooty and I are going to put that trophy where it belongs.

So Matt, you’re planning on putting that trophy in my hands?

engh! wrong,……PLus,…I just got off the phone with Big D,….turns out Newbies are docked 2 lbs right from the get-go.
jldiiPosts: 2294April 20, 2007 at 8:40 pm #563059I haven’t seen any rules yet, so I’ll hold any futher comments. I just hope bringing nothing but 19.5″ limits in is good enough for something besides feeding Kooty fresh fish!!
April 20, 2007 at 11:19 pm #563089My brother has some property up on the north side (Mille Lacs) off from the golf course (Bill’s) Just built a garage last fall and on and off all winter. We should have the whole crew together and if the fishing is half as good as it was last year, we should have plenty of campfire time and fish fry after fish fry. Life sure sucks
April 22, 2007 at 4:08 am #563304Waiting back in the woods for Josh and grandpa Art take the trophy maybe cooking up some meatballs to distract competition
