    I have a 2003 135 h.p. optimax what are the max r.p.m.s for the motor. I have been told 5500 and also 5700? Thanks

    Specs

    Also note the gear ratio on the 135 is 2-1 where the 150 is 1:87-1.

    look at the serial # sticker on your motor. It will list max rpms.

    The sticker on the motor says 5500r.p.m. So I assume I should not go over that? Thanks
