Sadly I had a piston break down to the compression ring and I now have a 10 yr old 200 HP carberated Yammie that is down. I have the rig @ an indepenadt shop right now and Terry is going to call me later w/ a more complete estimate than the $2 to $3 K range I’m looking at. Has anyone else had the sad experiance of a complete power head overhual?
I’m thinking of adding Boyston reeds. Any experiance there? Huberty didn’t push the idea, it was my question. The answer was better idle, hotter hole shot, & better fuel economy. Since he would already have the carbs off for cleaning rebuilding????
