Prop hub removal

I recently bought a prop for my motor and it had the wrong hub in it. It is the correct prop, just wrong hub. My motor is 15 spline and the one I got was 19. Is there a way I can remove the hub from my damaged prop and put it in my new prop? They are both made by Michigan Wheel.

    Thanks,
    Justin

I would bring it to a prop shop to have that done, never done one myself…. I’m thinking you’d have to have a press to remove/insert them?

When this is done, I would assume you need to re-balance the prop?

It all depends on the hub. Some can just be pressed out and pressed in. No balancing needed. I run Merc props on my Evinrude and they just press out and press in.
