Lowrance LMS 520 review.

    I have nothing but good things to say about this unit! The external GPS has been flawless, never lost a signal, and the sonar works great. I highly recomend this unit to anyone in the market for a mid price sonar/gps combo. It is by far the best update I have done to my boat, now I need to save up and get one for front.

    What’s the difference to a 334C other than the external unit??? I looked at those units, But there didn’t seem to be a difference in them.

    Chappy, They are very similar units expect the antenna. The 334C had a lot of issues in 2006. I haven’t heard a lot of feedback on the new LMS-522C with internal antenna yet, but the feedback on the LMS-520C with external antenna has been very good.
