Reel Repair

Does anyone know of a good reel repair shop near the metro?

For example I have a spinning reel that the bail hangs on when closing occasionally. I’ve tried the normal oiling it etc and it hasn’t worked worse yet my sausage like fingers are too big to hold all the tiny parts and try and take the thing apart myself.

Do people fix them? Do they just throw them out?

Call Dickie up at Trail’s End in Fridley. He can fix anything. 763-784-9080. Not only is he good at fixing reels, he is also a field staff member and an all around good guy. Tell them that you got referred from IDA (notice their ad on left)
