How many hours do you guys put on your big motor yearly. I recently had mine scanned and I was totally over estimating. 11 year old Lund with 247 hours on the big motor. Added the kicker in 2008 so that must have helped keep it a bit lower.

That is a good question I should get mine checked, I am sure I put more hours on my T8 kicker then I do on my main motor.

I put over 100hrs plus on mine each yr. Got a new flat with a mud motor last august and have over 230 hours in a yr anf a half. 27 hours a year is prerty sad… you need to fish more!

1 year and 247 hours????? you must be on the water a lot. unless you have a guide business. I have a 2001 200 merc and just had it checked this week. had a total of 78 running hours and I have fished a lot in the past 2 years.

I average between 100 and 150 hours a year. Don’t have a kicker so I put a lot of hours on the big motor because I troll a lot. Next boat will definately have a kicker to keep the hours down on the big motor.

Interesting to see the contrast in hours and I’m sure it reflects a lot on where/how you fish. I don’t know how many hours it actually has, but I know its way up there. I took my boat out March 16th of this year, and so far, I have already burned more than 110 gallons of gas.
