I don’t recall exactly when I got this hat but it has earned some time off. I am going to find a place to hang it in the garage to help recall everything it has been through. When I restored the chevelle that pretty much did it in, all the rust, grease and grime removal as well as all the welding etc. that was needed. This is a lower front fender I cut off and repaired, keeping that as a sample of the previous repairs done.

That one qualifies for OG status.

Onestout, shoot me your address and I’ll send you a new one on me. We just got our “classic” black hats back in stock a couple days ago. waytogo

I cleaned off my cell so I don’t have much for pics. This one is the 4 door family cruiser, turned out the frame was rotten like the rest of the car and had to be replaced. Got a frame from AZ, also didn’t realize that the 64 was just a little different than the 65 and replacement panels are not available so ended up making most the them myself with a hammer and vice. It has a 250 I6 and I just picked up a 200R4 for it. Hopefully get back to the 65 SS soon and get it back on the road, currently doing a 6.0 LS swap in that one.
