Link should work, sorry it’s a link to Twitter, don’t think I can link to just the video.

I saw that earlier today too, I’d recommend anyone to take the minute or so and watch the video, cool as hell.
The determination of that Eagle just screams patriotic American!!
As Don Lincoln would say…
And now you know why bald eagle tastes like Muskie.

I’ve actually witnessed this in the past.
I was fishing with my wife up near leech lake. We saw a dead or near dead northern pike on the surface similar in size to the musky in the video. A bald eagle was circling over head and made a dive for the fish. Next thing I saw was a big splash. This eagle left the fish and swam pretty fast for shore. We were no more than 75 feet away. Something I’ll never forget.
Can’t tell for sure, but that muskie appears to be under the slot. He shoulda released that fish!!!

Also… what state is that eagle a resident in? Better check its license.
The hardcore muskie guys are flaming the eagle on Facebook right now for not practicing catch and release.
And you should see the abuse the eagle is taking on Twitter. #ouch. #why_bring_the_muskies_mother_into_this.
