If your going towards Morson there is a newer store on your right that sells beer and alcohol. I don’t think the prices were to bad. When you go to the duty free shop you pay for it and they meet close to the border with it.
Well here’s how it went. We decided to skip another stop and did not stop at the duty free shop. Three of us brought 3 cases of beer and a 1.75 bottle of whiskey from home. Got to the boarder agent asked what we had. We were honest. He gave us exemption on the extra whiskey but not on the extra case. Charged me $8ish or so dollars that I had to go inside and pay for. But dummy me handed him a $20 bill and got Canadian money back. So as of right now I guess that extra case cost me $20 extra until I use up the Loonies.
And he did ask if they were 24 can cases.
