Opening Weekend

    Was a great weekend of hunting. My wife Holly ended up shooting this guy on Sunday night. He came out with a doe feeding in a picked bean field. She didn’t waste any time putting the hammer down. She made a great 65 yard shot with her TC smoke pole. He piled about 50 yards away. We had this buck on the property all summer and he started becoming more daylight active about 2 weeks ago. My dad passed him up 2 weeks ago hoping Holly or Keegan(11) would have a chance at him. I had him chasing a doe last wkend 50 yards away. It was an awesome time and couldn’t have turned out any better
