    A family friend of ours from Wyoming shot this buck last night. What a awesome buck congrats Sandi!!!

    Here’s the story.

    Ok, saw lots of other bucks in AM, so we went back in afternoon, waited for long time. Wes finally saw him across the meadow. So we put the sneek on him on top of a ridge.. I crawled through a lot of sage brush and cactus, still pulling some out!!!! I missed first shot, sage brush in way, buck didn’t move put another shell in, and CLICK! nothing , no shell in chamber. Both of us were panic ing Got another round in and then he was moving out of my sight!!!! had to reposition and settle back in, mind you I am on my belly laying in cactus. Squeezed the shot off. Hit him good! He went down in 5 seconds and was dead, perfect shot! Awesome hunt and memories for a life time. That is pretty much it. Then we drank some beer!
