The young bucks are starting to chase.

Tonight I watched a 1.5 year old chase a doe across a feild then back across again then 20 minutes later a doe ran out into the feild stoped 70 yards out had a buck close behind. Then a few seconds later another buck was right on there trail. The first buck was a mid 120’s 10 pt. He stoped and waited for the other smaller buck to get up to him and they squared off and fought for about a minute befor they both realized the doe took off. Then they both headed in the direction she was going. Was a fun night in the stand.

was on stand this morning and saw a doe trot out in a field followed by 1, 2 then 3 bucks. the last one was a decent 2 1/2 year old.
a couple minutes later here comes a buck back across the field, must be the 2 1/2 i thought, but then he turned toward me and “whoa, that aint no 2 1/2.” a shooter that had width, height and mass cruised across the field with his nose on the ground and disappeared into the woods.
when walking out about 11, saw another 1 1/2 doggin a doe across a field.
