Database maintenance/cleanup in progress

There are thousands of failed cron events in the system. I may need to disable various plugins as I clean things up.

If the site goes down at any point it will not be for long.

But so far so good. The server load hasn’t gotten to a concerning level but I wish I hadn’t kicked this off on a Sunday evening.

It looks like the site in general needs to be updated . The staff profile is from 2013 and according to the site profile we are heading into season 13

That’s also on the list but not related to the cron cleanup. The overall site cleanup is a work in progress. There’s been some issues with the spam filter flagging posts that it shouldn’t have. I have created a script to fix this but will need to shut the site down for an hour or so to let it run.

The database maintenance task for cron events has been running since I started it last night. It’s not overwhelming the server’s resources so I’m letting it run its course.
