OK, so I bought Lake Insight HD and really like the chip. A also downloaded the insight genesis social map for my lake (Pokegama in northern MN)after subscribing to that service. I’ve been recording and uploading sonar, all really fun.
I can customize colors on my genesis social map to specific depths using the depth palettes and it works great, both for the social map and my created maps. I found a Youtube video to show me how. I REALLY want to be able to do this using the Lake Insight HD chip as well, but when I use the same Palette, it doesn’t correlate at all. I can’t find any good way to do this. Does anyone else customize depth colors while using the Lake Insight HD chip, and can you help me?
