I stopped at Bayport Park today to check on the ice. The river was iced over but still pretty thin. We probably have about 1/2″ of ice. Water is finally down, clear and looks great. Corps of engineers lists the water level at Stillwater: 675.7 feet above sea level with normal elevation: 675 ft. A few more cool nights and we can start fishing, I’ll try to post every few days with an update on ice conditions.
