Curious if anyone has started, or gone back to using, count down baits like rapalas when fishing with livescope or any forward facing sonar?
After a year using this technology and seeing how many fish are out there that are neutral or negative mood I’m thinking of different techniques and presentations could be used to trigger some of these fish.
I see a lot of deep diving suspending baits but these seem challenging to get to right depth in the area of the fish.
I’m thinking a count down bait like a rapala may work very nice to cast right on top of the fish and let it drop down in front and try to entice a bite.
Every year I look for new techniques and presentations to play with and now with the livescope I get feedback about what works and what doesn’t.
