No docks yet, but a person just boated around the corner.

FYI at 6:10 this morning there was one rig at the Wisconsin Back Channel.

At 6:50, I had a report the rigs work working their way towards the Woodshed! It is MONDAY isn’t it??

Little rain and snow keeping the fair weather fishermen at bay?

Launched out of Colville last night, lots of dead shad and sheep head floating around. I did grab a couple shad on their last breath and used as bait..

Gizzard Shad (the popcorn of the Rivers) die off every spring and fall when the temps change.

I’ve talked to many people that have used shad for walleye bait. Not one of them have ever caught anything with it. Did you have any luck?

Cats and Sturgeon LOVE them…and I know eyes eat them when they are alive. Just never heard of a person catching an eye using shad.

Nope! Felt like a dummy using them so I went back to plastics
