Clear Lake dredging nearly complete

According to a recent Clear Lake paper the dredging will be completed in the next few weeks. And, the cost came in at about HALF from what was originally projected. How does that work? Maybe we need to get these guys to do some other government work

As you drive around Ventura Bay there are some interesting depth changes.

It does seem like the water is clearer this year which was one of the desired results. Don’t know about the fishing.

I remember as a kid we would use waders during the fall and cast count down Rapalas and catch some pigs, would be interesting to see what this does to help improve the fishery, has there been a recent kill off from thick snow covered ice?
